White dog behind a fenceNo person shall permit a dog to run at large in the Township. Dogs should be held securely on a leash to prevent the possibility of injury to people and other animals. Dog owners can be fined up to $5,000 for each offence, plus any applicable pound fees for maintaining the dog before it’s recovered.

Fees raised by Dog Licensing are used to offset the cost of this service to the Township and to cover the cost of livestock damages caused by dogs.
