In support of the Provincial Order under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, the Township of Douro-Dummer is moving forward with re-opening the parks and trail for limited use.

Visitors to the parks and Robert Johnston Trail will need to abide by all health regulations including a prohibition of groups of 10 or more people, maintaining physical distancing of 2 metres (6 feet) and ensuring that enhanced hygiene practices are maintained. All play structures and play equipment including swings, will remain closed. Please be advised there is no washroom facilities on sites.

Under the Phase 2 Provincial Guidelines, outdoor team sports may resume, if physically distanced, for training purposes only and with no scrimmages or games. Individuals can contact Vicki to pre-book all diamond or field use.

The Ontario Provincial Police, who are the local police service for the Township of Douro-Dummer will continue to enforce Provincial directives, including misuse of outdoor amenities and physical distancing requirements. The public can report issues to the following non-emergency numbers:
