Township staff are travelling the garbage routes ahead of the garbage collection trucks to assess how residents and businesses are transitioning to the Clear Bag Program. Feedback to date is positive, a very large percentage of residents have made the transition–thank you for your efforts! Residents that continue to use opaque bags are being left green “OOPS!” stickers on their garbage bins, recycle bins, or in their mailboxes (where available) as a friendly reminder about the change to clear garbage bags. If you receive one of these stickers please contact the Township office for information on how to transition to clear bags. Information on the program can be found on the Township website.
