Sustainable Peterborough Climate Change Action Plan Survey
Sustainable Peterborough is developing a Climate Change Action Plan (CCAP) for the Greater Peterborough Area to reduce local contributions to climate change and prepare the community for present and future changes. The overall goal of the CCAP is to:
• Reduce our greenhouse gas emissions
• Reduce the use of fossil fuels
• Lower our energy consumption
• Adapt to our changing climate
Based on the community input received so far, draft community action plans for addressing climate change in the Greater Peterborough Area have been developed.
Now, Sustainable Peterborough needs your help reviewing the draft community actions so you can let them know what you think would be effective in your community. Please visit http://sustainablepeterborough.ca/projects/climate-change-action-plan/ to complete a brief online survey.

They will be hiring professional power skating instructors to teach our hockey players skills to improve their game and will be covering a large percentage of the cost of ice time and instructors.
Registration will be at the same time as Douro Minor Hockey registration. The estimated cost for 6 – 1 hour sessions will be $30 per skater. There will be a maximum number of 30 participants in each of 2 groups.
The session dates and times will be determined after registration and will be before hockey season starts.
