The Township of Douro-Dummer Chief Fire Official has lifted the open air fire ban, effective July 26, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

Although we have not received the amount of precipitation as anticipated this week in many parts of our Township, we are satisfied that conditions have improved enough to remove the open air fire ban today, effective at 19:00, being July 26, 2018.

Please ensure to abide by the regulations for any open air burning as outlined in By-law 2015-05.

All open air fires need to be monitored at all times, a means of extinguishment is readily available and fully extinguished before leaving your fire for the night.
